Popsicle Lips??

Once upon a time I found a gorgeous photo of Ashley Olsen on the internet. I became obsessed with her lipstick (actually, the whole look in general, but her lipstick is phenom). I thought the color looked so cool and effortless, like she had just been eating a popsicle and then had her picture taken. I decided I wanted to try and make a similar look.

Yes, that is my own drawing just as a visual reference.

I took my Red Lizard by Nars lipstick (link will take you to Amazon) and applied it to just the inside of my lips. You know, the area you bite your lip or stick out your tongue. I then took my finger and just spread the lipstick out, smudging it around the edge of my lips. I like it because it's color that lasts a while, isn't sheer or too matt, it just looks really natural and fun.

I like it because you can also adjust the drama level. I didn't go as dark as Ashley's shade, but that's because I wanted to pair it with a bronze smoky eye. Tell me what you think!
